COMPERA Opera Studio
A training stage for singers who want to live opera — from first aria to full production.
The COMPERA Opera Studio is a training and performance program for singers who wish to gain real opera experience on stage, whether they are conservatory students, young professionals or dedicated amateurs.
Members work on role preparation, aria and ensemble repertoire, Italian and German diction, acting and stage movement, guided by professional opera singers, vocal coaches and répétiteurs.
Each season the studio prepares scenes and complete productions that are performed in cities across Bulgaria, giving members genuine stage practice in front of a live audience — the experience that auditions and competitions truly require.
Selected members also receive opportunities to appear as soloists or cover roles in COMPERA's main productions and concerts, and to work alongside our guest artists from Europe and Asia.
Applications are accepted year-round. After we receive your form we will contact you to arrange a short audition, in person or by video.
